]BOW is a project created by Dutch musician and Tilburg local Martijn Balsters. Prompted by a pandemic at the time, the debut album CITY RACE contains eleven heavy songs about life and all its struggles in a nearby future city as a common theme. Above all, BOW is a tip off the hat to metal bands that made their mark in the world of heaviness, such as Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Pantera, Anthrax, Slayer, Annihilator, Meshuggah and Metallica.
The album features guest performances by Rich Gray (Annihilator, Aeon Zen), Robin Kok (The Monolith Deathcult), Tim Verheijden (Lucifericon) and Sander Heerings (The Dust
