I shot up, heart pounding until I saw the ghost of Ben Lion stepping in through the door. He turned around and yelled behind him. "It's all clear! Bunny's alone."
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
Ben walked up to me until he towered over me with his athletic frame. "Think of it like a haunted house."
"No," said Roman from behind as he teamed in with the others. "It's not like that. Don't think of it like that."
Ben shrugged. "Okay, like a haunted house's friendly neighborhood cousin. We've decided to move in."

Roman Asher didn't kill himself. That's what perky freshman Bunny Rainville thinks when she first learns about his apparent suicide in the library after hours. Bunny hardly has a chance to grieve before she finds a mysterious treasure packed into her mailbox: a magic ring that gives her the ability to see and speak to Roman again-as well as a number of other ghosts haunting the campus of Twin Oaks.
