It has been one year since a virus turned the human population into monstrous beings we call, night screamers. A small number of us woke from the sickness; some woke and discovered they were immune, others became the gifted. The gifted have unique abilities and strong connections. What we believed to be the end was merely a new beginning. We thought the screamers would die off, after a second virus was released, but that was not the case. The ones that remain no longer move with incredible speed, they have become lethargic. Unfortunately, they have not lost the ability to scream. They have a high pitch, ear splitting scream. They come out at night to feed, and consume anything with a pulse. It is an endless fight to survive in this new world. We soon discover there are others, like us and not like us. Do we trust the newcomers and join forces? Will they help or divide us? Will we find a cure for the screamers or will it be a constant battle? A battle I fear, may never end.
