In this world of magic, monsters, and mystery, lies a tale of fate. Orchestrating the city's destruction is Jason Live, who has enslaved the populace using dark magic disguised as an innocent-looking handheld glowing rectangle.
But out of the darkness rises two heroes: River, a young woman who left all she knew in pursuit of an adventure bigger then herself, and Mark, a man who was raised on the mountain by his mother, a former demon hunter who taught him the ways of demon hunting. River and Mark find in each other a common cause and resolve to not let the darkness take over the City of Light.
