Eines Tages schließt sich ihm auf einer seiner Runden die neunjährige Schascha an, die neu in der Stadt ist. Schnell gewinnt Schascha die Herzen von Carls und seiner Stammkundschaft - und wirbelt nicht nur ihr aller Leben gehörig durcheinander, sondern bringt auch Carl dazu, aus seiner eigenen Welt auszubrechen.
