Hélène wird zur karrierebewussten Powerfrau, Michel muss sich als Hausmann im Smart Home behaupten. Statt patriarchaler Ordnung herrscht plötzlich Gleichberechtigung, digitale Assistenten mischen mit, und die Tochter will ihre Freundin heiraten. Während Hélène ihre neue Freiheit genießt, hadert Michel mit der modernen Welt und sehnt sich nach der „guten alten Zeit". Doch wie steuert man eine Waschmaschine auf Zeitrückreise? Eine spritzige Komödie über Rollenbilder, Emanzipation und den ganz alltäglichen Wahnsinn zwischen Gestern und Heute.
