In this class we will draw subjects in an academic style, exclusively in black and white. Your observation skills are required and the subject will be related to two vegetables. To be more specific, this class is about academic drawing. You will learn how to draw peas and beans with pencils of various boldness. I will share plenty of tricks and techniques about drawing with you, especially related to the academic style. We will start by doing a scale of grey or learning how to draw a sphere. Afterwards we will draw the peas with the correct proportions, and then the beans on a page with a harmonious composition. This class also include a very original little meditation! This is for everybody, whatever your level is. There are two preparatory exercises and two other ones which will really help you to observe and draw. The latter are the class project and are related to beans and peas. We will break down elements to understand them better. Furthermore, a free line drawing exercise is included.
