SOLIDWORKS SWOOD is a set of professional solutions for the furniture industry to improve the process of designing and manufacturing furniture. SWOOD has two modules:
SOLIDWORKS SWOOD Design
SWOOD Design is an add-on to the SOLIDWORKS software. It enhances 3D furniture design workflows with special features that extend the standard capabilities of SOLIDWORKS.
Prefab sets are configured to improve automation and repeatability of design activities. Designing furniture in SolidWorks SWOOD Design comes down to creating or selecting a prefabricated cabinet and then equipping it with furniture fittings, shelves, partitions, and other elements that retain parametrics and connection with model modifications and rebuilds. Eccentric connections, pins? or lamella inserts can also be used using the Drag&Drop function, generating connections between them and the mounting holes.
SOLIDWORKS SWOOD CAM
SolidWorks SWOOD CAM software helps you move from the design phase to production. Due to the possibility of using the full scope of available technologies, the user is able to correctly program the CNC woodworking machine. The end result of working in SolidWorks SWOOD CAM is a generated NC program and documentation around the production.
With SolidWorks SWOOD CAM, you can quickly identify your own cutting tools, add them to your library, and use them in downstream workflows. Thus created base of predefined tools, additionally enriched in the tree processing strategy, makes it possible to use the ready-made "Drag&Drop" technology together with the wood processing library.
