What is Generative AI? How does it do what it does? How can I add value to my life and be more successful at work by using it? If those questions sound familiar - this is the course for you! Simply put:- Being able to use GenAI is the 2nd most important skill in the world for 2024. - Understanding GenAI's implications is 1st for 2024! This course is designed to bridge that gap. In this course we will look at how to use GenAI, but crucially we will talk through why this technology is significant, what it is, how it works, and most importantly, what we should be thinking about when we are using it. We will look at some use cases, and I'll encourage you to play with one of the most popular forms of GenAI (ChatGPT).The first two sections of the course are designed for people with little or no understanding or past experience of GenAI. From section 3 we deep dive into how GenAI functions (non-technical) and why this is important. We explore the ethics, responsibility and societal questions surrounding its use, and why these are important for you and your future. *Please note this is an "in progress" course.
