Dabei ahnt niemand etwas von ihrem besonderen Talent. Teresa scheint die Welt um sie herum viel klarer als alle anderen von Musik durchzogen zu erkennen. Als alle sich auf den Besuch des Papstes vorbereiten und der Kapellmeister sich bemüht, eine neue Komposition für den Pontifex zu kreieren, macht Teresa eine entscheidende Entdeckung. In einer Abstellkammer steht ein Pianoforte, ein bis dahin komplett neues Instrument.
