GoldWave combines audio recording, editing, mixing, effects processing, restoration, analysis, and conversion in one application. Users can record from microphones, line-in sources, streaming audio, loopback inputs, turntables, cassette decks, receivers, and other supported sources.
The editor provides familiar commands such as Cut, Copy, Paste, Trim, Replace, and Overwrite, while virtual editing makes it possible to work with large audio files efficiently. Audio can also be combined, crossfaded, processed with effects, or prepared for podcasts, radio spots, presentations, and other projects.
