Hydro GeoAnalyst Plus provides an integrated environment for managing environmental and groundwater datasets. Projects can use local or cloud-hosted databases, while data import, comparison, visualization, analysis, and reporting tools support different stages of environmental data workflows.

Cloud Databases

---

New HGA projects can store their project database in the cloud. Team members can access cloud databases through an Internet connection with HGA installed. The system supports managed database services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as databases hosted on web servers.
Bulk Data Import

Import multiple data sources at once using the same mapping. Bulk import supports multiple spreadsheets containing single-table data, including lithology and sample data, as well as EDD bulk imports.
Data Validation

Bulk import processing can reject incompatible or incorrectly formatted data, helping simplify data management and quality assurance workflows.
Graphical Descriptions

---

Create scatter and time series descriptions with automatically calculated linear regression lines. Symbol groups can be changed directly from the Description settings, while lines can use custom labels or labels based on calculated regression data.
Station Comparison

The Compare tool allows data associated with stations to be compared and moved or copied between stations.
List Filtering

---

Lists in the List Editor module can be filtered in a similar way to other tables in the application.
Efficient Data Architecture

HGA modules use an updated architecture for storing data, reducing the likelihood of SQL object limit errors.
Trend Analysis

The HGA+ edition includes a Trend Analysis module for statistical analysis of time series data. Supported methods include linear regression, Sen's slope estimator, Spearman rank correlation, Mann-Kendall testing, and Seasonal Mann-Kendall testing.
Reporting and Export

HGA+ can export modeled and calculated parameter results, sample analysis metadata, water quality standards, and trend analysis results. Trend analyses can also be automatically displayed in time series graphs.
Sample Analysis Tools

The Sample Analysis Viewer supports sorting, while newly created parameters can be updated through the Parameter Calculator by default. Box-and-Whisker descriptions can display the number of samples and non-detects for each data series.
Geochemical Diagrams

Durov and Piper diagram titles can be configured without automatically listing all parameters by default.
