Description
This course is the first in the series 'Polish almost without Secrets.' The entire series is dedicated to the practical aspects of using various types of verbs and other parts of speech, as well as grammatical tenses in the Polish language.This course is focused on discussing the verbs 'być' (to be), 'mieć' (to have), and 'czynności' (actions) in the Polish languageIn Polish, the verb 'być' (to be) is inflected for all persons and numbers in the present, past, and future tenses for single events, for example:Czas teraźniejszy (present tense):jestem (I am),jesteś (you are),on / ona / ono jest (he/she/it is),jesteśmy (we are),jesteście (you are),oni są / one są (they are).In Polish, the verb 'mieć' (to have) is inflected for all persons and numbers in the present, past, and future tenses for single events, for example:czas przeszły (past tense):miałem (I had),miałeś (you had),miał / miała / miało (he/she/it had),mieliśmy (we had),In Polish, action verbs 'czynności' (actions) in single completed actions vary by persons and numbers in the present, past, and future, through the change of the verb ending, for example:verbs such as: bić (beat), kupować (buy), pisać (write),czas przyszły (Future Simple):napiszę[-ę] (I will write),napiszesz[-esz] (you will write),on/ona/ono napisze[-e] (he/she/it will write),napiszemy[-emy] (we will write),napiszecie[-ecie] (you will write),oni / one napiszą[-ą] (they will write).
