In order not to worry him, as a child Helene falsified her father’s cardiological findings. dr Spellart and her mother surprise her with a gift and announce the upcoming addition to the family. A visit to the zoo with Oskar takes an unexpected turn. When Helene is about to visit Maike, she witnesses a crisis conversation about her own future. Finally, she learns of another incident involving her father, for which she involuntarily shares responsibility.

Eleven-year-old Helene seeks advice from a public prosecutor to get Dr. hold Spellart accountable. At a vernissage, 24-year-old Helene is again disappointed by Oskar and has to make a decision about their future together. Meanwhile, a long-pursued plan is working out for them, with which old conflicts are also being reopened. Helene can no longer put off a series of confessions to her father, and her decisions do not remain without consequences for long.
