In this course, Security for Gen AI Integrations, you'll learn to protect LLM-based applications through the full development and deployment lifecycle. First, you'll assess the Gen AI security threat surface using the OWASP LLM Top 10 2025 framework and structured threat modeling, mapping all ten vulnerabilities to real-world Globomantics scenarios and building a prioritized risk register. Next, you'll implement a layered defensive strategy - allowlist-based input validation, output filtering, structured output enforcement, data masking, and system prompt hardening - and validate each control against live exploits. Then, you'll extend those defenses to agentic systems, applying tool permission scoping, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and document sanitization to prevent indirect prompt injection from hijacking agent tool calls. Finally, you'll establish security governance through the OWASP LLM Cybersecurity and Governance Checklist, structured audit logging, production anomaly monitoring, and an incident response plan designed for Gen AI-specific events. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge needed to design, test, and operate Gen AI integrations that are defensible against active attacks and audit-ready for compliance review.
