We will work in pencil, pen, pen and wash, and watercolor. Watch over my shoulder as I paint and sketch and explain how to get the best from your materials.
The 26 videos include such things as starting a sketchbook, using it to help you plan paintings, to beat painter's block, and to record your trips away. I'll show you different portable painting set-ups, including the simplest palette ever! I even show you a light and practical home-made easel. There are videos demonstrating quick ways to capture buildings and people, and how to avoid chasing the sun. If you don't know where to start, then I'll give you ideas for subject matter, and how to simplify the scene in front of you. Plus much more!
