During this second part of the complete series "The Complete F5 Bootcamp (LTM,ASM,DNS)" , we tackled the main needed configurations related to the most important features of f5 bigip DNS module .Section one is a quick introduction to DNS protocol and role of DNS module inside our network , also we have tackled the main internal functions of f5 bigip DNS module ( DNS Acceleration , Intelligent DNS & DNSSEC ) .In section two , we have discussed the main technologies could be used for improving the performance of resolving of existed DNS servers in our internal environment by using three main methods :- - DNS Acceleration .- DNS Cache .- Load Balancing .In the next section , we have covered all the needed objects inside GSLB or Intelligent DNS and how to configure them on our bigip DNS module :- - Servers / Virtual Servers .- Datacenters .- Pools .- Wide IPs .Section four is an application on the load balancing methods that we can use on the intelligent DNS to make the best answer DNS response to the client like ( Round trip time , Number of hops , Topology , Least Connections , .... ) .Finally we'll see some different topics could be used with bigip DNS module like ( DNSSEC , iRules ) and how to use both on our bigip DNS module .
