Description
Ever watch Shark Tank and think, 'Hey...my idea is better than that guy's!'?Or find yourself thinking of new ways to improve existing products? If you're like me and dream of making a product, but aren't sure where to begin, The Fearless Inventor's Roadmap for Making a Physical Product may be for you. I wanted to create a product for most of my life, but thought it was something other people did. Then one day in 2017, I witnessed a near accident between a car and stroller in a crosswalk that led me to create a stroller safety accessory. It was in that moment I decided to stop inventing products in my mind and embrace the fear of the unknown. That stroller product now has 2 registered patents with another pending, it made it past the first round of Shark Tank four times, and earned a vendor contract with the top baby retailer in the country as my very first client. Walking down the product development road can be scary, and the wins aren't always easy. Throughout this course I share with you my own hard-won lessons learned about:- Initial product design- Building and testing your first prototype- Finding the right vendors and manufacturers- The complexities of shipping and warehousing- Submitting patent applications and conducting patent and trademark searches- Types of insurance you may need to cover your business and product - And other critical elements of making a new product that you can save time and money and even expedite some of your own challenging product decisions. Every activity assigned in this course is designed to move your product from concept idea to the end consumer. I am happy to make myself available for your questions and requests to provide additional course information and updates, so this course can be as valuable as possible for you during your own product development adventure.Reach out to me anytime and I'll reply as quickly as I can. Let's do this! *Please note that Closed Captioning will be provided soon.
