The Fundamentals of Design for Print Publications

Welcome! In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of designing a physical, print publication, whether it be a corporate newsletter, an art zine, a magazine, or a small newspaper.
I'll cover the following elements of design: typography, typographic design, photo & art placement, headlines, cutlines, body copy, alternative story formats, and front page design.
By the end of this course, you'll have the knowledge to begin creating a publication that has strong design and great readability; something that will keep reader's eyes on your pages and looking forward to your next publication.
