This class is an introduction to painting watercolor portraits. We'll drip our toes into the entire process, from creating a and transferring a sketch, color mixing, materials, some basic techniques and how to apply those to painting facial features - and I'll show you the entire process of painting this girl.
Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with watercolor, I hope this can give you some tips on how to approach painting portraits from reference.
This is the first video in a small series. In upcoming classes I'll be going more in depth with each of the different areas, from drawing faces, color mixing and painting more detailed portraits.
