Industrial robots are at the heart of modern manufacturing, and ABB is one of the most widely used platforms on the factory floor. This course takes you from complete beginner to confidently programming ABB robots using RobotStudio - all explained step-by-step in English, so you can learn the concepts in the language you're most comfortable with.
You'll start with the fundamentals: understanding a robot's axes and degrees of freedom, then move into RobotStudio itself - installing the software, navigating the Home, Controller, and RAPID tabs, and building your first project from scratch.
From there, you'll write real RAPID code, working with core motion instructions like MoveL, MoveJ, and MoveC, and learn how Work Objects (WObj) and Tool Center Points (TCP) let you position the robot accurately for real applications.
The course then goes deep into the IRC5 controller - both virtual and physical - covering IO configuration, PROFINET networking, EIO file handling, and World Zones, before introducing you to ABB's newer OmniCore controller and FlexPendant.
