This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Most AI training is built for engineers. It teaches you to write prompts and wire up tools, then
leaves you to work out the part that is actually your job: deciding what to hand over, how to check
the work, and who is accountable when an agent gets it wrong.
This course is built for the manager, not the builder.
You will learn to treat an AI agent the way you treat a capable new hire. You brief it properly. You
define what good looks like. You check its work before it reaches a customer. And you keep the
decisions that should stay human.
What we cover
We start with a decision framework for splitting work between agents and people, so you stop
guessing and stop automating things that should never have been automated. Then we cover briefing
scope, success criteria, and the escalation points that stop a small error becoming an expensive
one.
The middle of the course is about verification, and it is the part most training skips. Agent output
is confident and fluent even when it is wrong. You will learn the specific failure modes that pass
a casual glance, and how to build a review step that catches them.
We finish with a pilot you can actually run. Pick one process, measure your current baseline, deploy
an agent against it and make an honest call about whether to scale it or shut it down.
What this course is not
There is no coding. There are no promises that AI will 10x your team. You will not be told to
automate everything. Some of the most useful lessons here are about work you should keep with your
people.
