Ashes of Reason is a melodic metal/traditional metal solo project led by UK multi-instrumentalist and mixer/producer Anthony Ellis. Yep, he does everything! He is the former member of the unsigned UK traditional metal band Disarm Goliath, that broke up in 2018. After a break and in the Covid lockdowns, he resumed writing music, that time more refined melodic metal. In 2025 and with the new name 'Ashes of Reason' we all know and love, Anthony grows even more. His new full length album 'Crisis Catalyst' independently released on July 4th, 2025.

Wow, this guy has a seriously impressive vocal vibrato and can effortlessly reach rather high pitches, he easily rivals Judas Priest's Rob Halford! Also reminded of 3 Inches of Blood's frontman and sometimes even the super over the top band Nitro!
