You will explore safety and safeguarding structures, player pathways, coaching syllabuses, staff development and weekly batch schedules. Pricing, budgets, cash flow, enrolment, retention and management systems connect the sporting programme to the day-to-day business.
The tournament part covers competition structures, sanctioning, scoring systems, event formats, entries and eligibility. You will work through seeding, byes, draws, match-duration estimates and the order of play, then examine officials, venue preparation, software, the control desk, volunteers and event close-out. Scoring and regulatory topics should be applied using the current rules of your governing body.
Four practical assignments bring the material together: an academy spreadsheet model, a twelve-week coaching block, a tournament draw and schedule, and an event budget with a run sheet.
