Requirements
A little comfort with the command line helps, enough to open a terminal and type what you are shown. You do not need to know what the commands mean, because those get explained as they arrive.
No programming language required. Nothing here assumes you write Python, JavaScript or anything else, and nothing assumes you have shipped software before.
A Mac, a Windows PC or a Linux machine, and an internet connection. The course installs everything else with you, step by step, on whichever one you have.
A Claude account. Section 2 shows you which plan fits the way you actually work, so you are not guessing or paying for more than you need.
Most of the scenarios in this course are developer scenarios, and that is deliberate. It comes from training developers on this tool and watching where they get stuck. If you are not one, nothing is gated behind it and every term is built up as it arrives.

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
On paper, the years you spent learning to build software are worth less this year than they were last year.
Nobody had to show you a chart.
You are faster than you have ever been. You also feel more replaceable than you ever have.
- Some developers are calling that grief.
The pay has started moving in two directions to match. Senior developers took a pay cut last year, while jobs asking for AI skills grew about eight times faster than everything else.
And it is not your fault. Nobody ever handed you the other half of the job.
You opened the tool, typed a sentence, got back something half-finished, and concluded, reasonably, that the demo had left a lot out.
It had. What it left out is a handful of decisions, made quietly before the interesting part starts.
How those went decides whether the tool works beside you like a colleague, or the way it did on the day you tried it.
Learn them, and you stop being the person this is happening to.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY BUILD
Get those decisions right and you finish holding two things.
The first is an application living on the internet at its own address. You started from an empty folder, and you can send it to anyone.
- It proves you can carry an idea the whole way out into the world.
The second is a job you do every week, written down once, that now runs whether you are sitting there or not.
- That one proves something rarer. You can put work somewhere it keeps happening without you.
That second one is what people mean by agentic AI, which is a great deal less mysterious than it sounds.
Nobody holding both of those spends long wondering whether AI is coming for their job. They spend it being asked how they did it.
The people who get there quickest are rarely the ones you would expect.
