Six years after Brothers in Arms, the band released their final studio record which features the singles Calling Elvis, Heavy Fuel, On Every Street, and The Bug. It was No 1 in the UK and across many countries in Europe.
The SDE exclusive Blu-ray audio features a brand new Dolby Atmos Mix by Dire Straits band member and longtime Mark Knopfler associate Guy Fletcher, and a 2026 stereo remaster by Miles Showell. Miles has confirmed that this is non-limited audio, and is the same high quality source used for a forthcoming vinyl version of this album. For those curious, On Every Street was originally mixed to DAT at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz. The Blu-ray also features an instrumental version of the album in Dolby Atmos, the first time the album has ever been available in instrumental form (it's a wonderful listen).
