GHOST provides six morphing wavetable oscillators connected through a 6x6 FM matrix with FM feedback. Oscillator phase modulation can be stacked, while semitone and ratio controls provide additional ways to shape the oscillator relationships. Spectral filters and up to 16 unison voices with stereo controls extend the sound-shaping options.
Its effects section contains 10 effect types, with up to six instances of each type for a total of 60 available effect slots. Processing options include compression, distortion, reverb, delay, and morphing multipole phasers, with individual controls for shaping their behavior.
The modulation system includes six envelopes, six LFOs, and six frequency modulation sources. Frequency modulation sources can remap an oscillator's frequency and be controlled in a manner similar to an LFO. GHOST can also generate random LFO shapes and sequences, save LFO shapes as wavetables, and respond to performance controls such as aftertouch, velocity, pitch bend, and the modulation wheel.
