Description

This course is intended for the those who are either working in or targeting the role of a business analyst or supply chain analyst and want to get an overview of supply chain and its relationship with finance. This course would help in understanding how analytics can be used for handling operations, supply chain and finance.
Though it covers basics, but it would be useful for all levels especially if you are switching role to business analytics or want to understand the fundamentals of supply chain management.
It provides an overview of MS Excel, Power BI and Python (only analytics focused). In Excel we would cover the data handling capabilities of Excel, important formulae used and charts and Pivot Tables. The Power BI mainly would focus on dashboarding using sales data. Python includes use of Pandas for analysis.
Subsequently the course proceeds to provide an overview of supply chain management, planning, forecasting, inventory planning, cash flow etc. A few use cases of creating an interactive cashflow statement using Excel, creating a Power BI dashboard for shipment etc. have also been covered. After completing this course, the student would be able to get an overview of analysis and visualization of operations and supply chain.
