Automatic PDF Processor uses monitored folders, also known as hot folders, to detect PDF files and apply predefined processing rules. Users can create individual profiles for different tasks and filter documents using criteria such as document text, PDF metadata, file dates, attachment names or counts, and titles.
The application can dynamically determine storage folders from PDF properties or document content. It can also process existing PDFs in a folder according to user-defined criteria, making it suitable for organizing both newly received and previously stored documents.
Text extraction is optional, with support for creating an unlimited number of extraction rules within a profile. Extracted values can be validated and formatted before being used for file names or folder paths, or exported as CSV data. Embedded PDF attachments can likewise be extracted and stored in designated folders.
