Build training that solves the right performance problem
This practical course shows you how to use the ADDIE model as an evidence-driven, iterative workflow-not a rigid waterfall. You will move from a vague training request to a complete, decision-ready learning solution that connects business needs, observable behavior, learning objectives, practice, assessment, implementation, and evaluation.
Throughout the course, you will work with the realistic NovaWorks case and apply each phase of ADDIE: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. You will diagnose whether training is actually required, interview stakeholders, analyze learners and critical tasks, write measurable objectives, create an aligned learning architecture, storyboard scenario-based lessons, prototype the riskiest parts, prepare facilitators and managers, support transfer to the job, and build an evaluation strategy tied to business indicators.
Use AI responsibly throughout ADDIE
You will learn where AI can accelerate research synthesis, ideation, drafting, review, and analysis-and where human judgment must remain accountable. The course includes practical controls for privacy, accuracy, bias, accessibility, intellectual property, source verification, and transparent AI-use logging. No paid AI subscription is required.
Create a complete portfolio-ready project
By the end, you will complete an integrated corporate-training capstone supported by ten reusable templates. These include a performance-diagnosis canvas, stakeholder-interview guide, learner and task analysis workbook, objective-alignment matrix, storyboard, assessment blueprint and rubric, responsible-AI charter and log, pilot runbook, evaluation-dashboard specification, and maintenance register.
