In this course, I have explained stereochemistry in detail starting from basic to advance, beginning from isomers and types of isomerism, cis trans isomerism, E-Z nomenclature, chirality, conditions for a molecule to be chiral, Enantiomers and how to draw them, Diastereomers, meso compounds, optical activity, specific rotation and its measurement , enantiomeric excess, perspective formula versus Fischer Projection. How to find R,S configuration if a compound is drawn as perspective formula or Fischer projection with one or more than one asymmetric centers and how to interconvert Fischer to perspective, perspective to skeletal, Newman to Fischer, Fischer to Newman, skeletal to perspective, skeletal to Fischer and so on and how to establish relationship between Various stereoisomers ,how to name a compound with asymmetric centers and how to separate enantiomers using chromatography
