From client-side guesswork to server-verified trust - build attestation, risk scoring, and MASVS evidence that ships.
What you'll learn
Requirements
& Prerequisites Knowledge: Comfortable writing basic code in any language (Kotlin/Swift/Python experience helps but is not required - Module 1 gets you running). Familiarity with using a terminal and Git at a basic level (clone, commit, push). No prior mobile security, reverse engineering, or DevSecOps experience needed. Every advanced concept is built up lab-by-lab. Software (free/open-source): A computer running Windows, macOS, or Linux with at least 16GB RAM recommended (Android emulator + Docker + Kubernetes concurrently). Docker Desktop or Docker Engine, Git, Android Studio, VS Code (or your editor of choice). Python 3.11+, JDK 17. Optional but required for full iOS labs: a Mac with Xcode (free from the App Store) for Swift/iOS development and the iOS Simulator. Learners on Windows/Linux can complete 100% of the Android and backend track and follow documented iOS environment limitations for the capstone. Free-tier accounts: GitHub (for CI/CD labs), Google Play Console access is not required for the Play Integrity labs (mock adapters are used). Hardware: No physical Android or iOS device required - every lab is designed around emulators/simulators. A physical device is a bonus, not a blocker.
Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Vibe Coding Ends Where Runtime Trust Begins
There is a specific, uncomfortable moment every mobile engineer eventually hits: your app looks secure. It compiles, it passes QA, the demo works, the certificate pinning code is in there somewhere. And then someone runs Frida against your APK in five minutes and reads your business logic like a paperback novel. Or a rooted device farm starts hammering your login API through a "legitimate" copy of your client. Or an auditor asks, calmly, "how do you know this control actually works in production?" - and the honest answer is "we think it does."
That gap - between an app thatlooks protected and a system that isprovably resilient, monitored, and governed - is the entire subject of this course. "Vibe coding" mobile security means bolting on obfuscation, hoping root detection holds, and calling it done.Engineering mobile security means treating the client as an untrusted, observable, tamper-prone endpoint, and building a real architecture around that assumption: signal collection on-device, cryptographic attestation, server-side verification, explainable risk scoring, privacy-respecting telemetry, and automated evidence - all wired together and deployable on real infrastructure.
The Solution: 100 Labs, One Repository, Zero Fluff
This is not a slideshow course. You will build a single, growing Git repository - mobile-rasp-labs - across 100 hands-on labs, each with a Pre-Flight Check, a Safety Net (a real git tag), and a Rollback command, so you never lose progress and never fear breaking something. By Lab 10 you'll have a live Android app, a live iOS app (or a fully documented simulator path if you're on Windows/Linux), and a FastAPI backend exchanging a real runtime risk event. Everything after that adds depth, not fluff.
What's Inside
The Climax: Lab 100 - The Sovereign Mobile RASP Platform
Lab 100 is not a quiz. It is a capstone architecture defense. You will integrate everything - Android and iOS runtime signal paths, backend policy decisions, attestation verification, observability dashboards, signed and provenance-attested release artifacts, a Kubernetes deployment, a GDPR/DORA/EU AI Act compliance control map, and a signed, tamper-evident offline research archive - into one running, scored system. A scoring harness evaluates your evidence, and an "Architecture Review Board" simulation (Lab 98) forces you to defend your tradeoffs the way a real staff engineer would in front of security, legal, and operations. When you finish Lab 100, you won't have a certificate that says you watched videos. You'll have a working, defensible, production-grade platform in your own portfolio - one you built, understand, and can extend.
Why Enroll Now
Mobile security roles are increasingly demanding thefull mobile-to-backend path - not isolated pentesting tricks. This course closes exactly that gap using entirely open-source tooling (MobSF, Frida, OpenTelemetry, OPA, Sigstore, OpenTofu), so what you build here isn't locked behind a vendor SDK you'll lose access to the moment you change jobs. It's yours. Every lab is reproducible, every checkpoint is a git tag, and every claim in this description is backed by a lab number you can go run today.
