This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Build a reliable approach to OET Reading by connecting each answer to evidence in the text. This course takes you from essential reading habits to the different demands of Parts A, B and C, with worked examples, independent tasks and explanations of why tempting alternatives fail.
The course includes an instructor introduction and sixteen narrated skills lessons, totalling approximately 51 minutes of video. Practise skimming for purpose, scanning for details, recognising paraphrases, following references, and interpreting conditions and exceptions. Part A develops navigation between texts, accurate short answers and time management. Part B focuses on workplace messages, instructions and distractors. Part C explores paragraph structure, viewpoints, inference and vocabulary in context.
Your learning resources include a lesson workbook, an original 42-question practice assessment, a separate answer guide and a six-question foundation checkpoint with feedback. The assessment follows the broad task types and question counts of the Reading sub-test. Explanations help you identify whether an error came from navigation, vocabulary, interpretation or copying. A review log and study plan turn those findings into practical next steps.
Pause to attempt each activity before viewing the explanation. Write down the supporting words, explain why an alternative is wrong, and practise again on unfamiliar material. This course is for healthcare professionals preparing for OET who already read general English and want a more organised method. Beginners to the test can start with the foundations; experienced learners can use the diagnostic activities to target gaps.
