Overcoming Resistance on the Path to Success

Nancy Reyes started out as a kid in low-income housing who couldn't speak English. She went on to lead major advertising agencies. In this course, she shares what that journey taught her: from the challenges of assimilation and breaking systemic barriers to building executive presence and finding her voice as a leader. Nancy covers how to overcome cultural resistance, embrace creativity and AI as tools for growth, and build a career strategy grounded in authenticity and resilience. She also explores mentorship, giving back, and what it means to stay true to yourself in an industry that often pressures you to be someone else. This course was created by genConnectU. We are pleased to host this training in our library.
