This course helps you prepare for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect Foundations exam (CCA-F). It introduces essential concepts needed for agentic workflow development using LLMs. While the exam doesn't focus much on coding, the course actually has a lot of code snippets for the sake of completeness and usefulness.Which is why this course is useful even if you don't care about the exam.
Similar to the exam, the course is scenario based. Each lecture introduces a question and 4 answers to choose from. Using that question, we dive deeper into the topic under discussion to cover it in a deep yet effective way.
Lectures vary in length. Ranging from short 2 minute lectures towards longer 30 min ones. Longer lectures typically introduce newer concepts, while shorter lectures act more as practice questions on concepts we covered before. Exceptions exist, though.
What if I don't care about Claude or about the exam ?
I would still say the course is relevant if you are looking to catch up on the latest concepts and ideas in agentic workflows. The concepts are almost identical between all the major vendors (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, etc..) and even if you prefer the open-source route. The course will still be highly relevant and useful. It also gives you a reasonable idea about different agentic workflow frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, & PydanticAI. Needless to say that the core focus is still on Claude, though, so don't except a deep dive into the other frameworks.
