The power of Python consists of being an extremely versatile high-level language, easy to program that combines both traditional programming and data reduction and analysis tools Python is a great language for science and specifically for astronomy. In this course you will learn how to solve astronomical problems by using python like:-
· Finding exoplanets
· Plotting gravitational wave
· Handling astronomical image file
· Solving Kepler's problem
· Astronomical coordinates
· Astronomical Units
· Plotting Graph
· Python as a calculator
For this course no prior knowledge of python is required. You will also learn about the various python library packages such as numpy, scipy, matplotlib and astropy. To work with the astronomy mostly we will use astropy library. The Astropy project is committed to fostering an inclusive community. The community of participants in open source Astronomy projects is made up of members from around the globe with a diverse set of skills, personalities, and experiences. At the end of the course you will have an excellent understanding of python astronomy.
