All Aydin wants is a safe place to piece his life back together. After being beaten by his boyfriend, he quickly learns there is no such place and that no matter what he does to try and escape, his ex is always following him.
As a patrol officer, Kent's seen the worst people can do to one another, and it frustrates him how often the victim is the one who suffers the most. When he keeps getting calls about Aydin's situation, he decides to step in and give him a hand.
Aydin doesn't want a hand-up, he just wants things to be fair. With Kent's help, he starts to finally find his way back to a normal life. He has hope for the future with a good job and new friends until his ex starts to attack the new parts of his life as well.
