tiny11 Core is a significantly reduced Windows 11 image created using the official tiny11 Builder and an MSDN image of Windows 11 25H2 Pro Build 26200.9457. It is designed for testing, development, and virtual machine environments where a compact Windows installation is useful.
The image removes a large number of built-in applications and system components to reduce its footprint. It can also be installed on older or unsupported hardware without TPM and Secure Boot requirements.
tiny11 Core is not intended to be a full replacement for a standard Windows 11 installation. Because important servicing components have been removed, languages, updates, and additional Windows features cannot be added after the image has been created.

In addition to the applications removed from the base tiny11 image, tiny11 Core also removes or disables several Windows servicing and recovery components.
- Windows Component Store (WinSxS)
- Windows Defender is disabled but can be enabled again if required
- Windows Update is removed and cannot function without the Windows Component Store
- Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)
tiny11 Core is a heavily reduced Windows image and is not intended as a general-purpose replacement for a standard Windows 11 installation. The removal of the Windows Component Store prevents normal servicing, while Windows Update cannot function. Languages, updates, and removed features cannot be added back after creation. These limitations make the image more appropriate for testing, development, and virtual machine scenarios.
