MemoryTone is XILS-lab's software instrument inspired by an ambitious analog synthesis architecture. It features a sixteen-voice polyphonic design with three oscillators per voice and a 24 dB/octave self-oscillating ladder filter, providing a flexible foundation for creating synthesized sounds.
The instrument combines multiple oscillator waveforms with oscillator synchronization, pulse-width control, and an interactive signal path in which oscillator levels and voice behavior contribute to the resulting sound. Its architecture is designed for exploring layered and evolving synthesized textures.
MemoryTone extends the core synthesis design with expanded modulation capabilities, MPE support, an advanced arpeggiator, and an effects environment. It is available as a 64-bit macOS instrument in VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU formats.​

Software Overview
